Nick Robinson, Chairman of the John Banner Scholarship Fund undertakes a solo long-distance cycle ride annually:
2011 - Lochs and Glens South route
2012 - Lochs and Glens North route
2013 - The Way of the Roses / Hadrian's Wall routes
2014 - completed the Land’s End to John O’Groats route
2015 - repeated the last stage of this ride to John O'Groats, via the arduous alternative inland route via Crask Inn, Bettyhill and Thurso.
2016 - cycled the Avenue Verte - 250 miles from London Eye to Notre Dame
2017 - the English leg of The Tour de Manche
2018 - cycled the Coast and Castles (South) Cycle route, 200 miles from Newcastle to Edingburgh
£6,799 has been raised from the above!
2019 Challenge - starting 28 April - The Coast and Castles (North) route, 200 miles from Edinburgh to Aberdeen
