Northampton College - financial assistance to help three students have work experience placements with Michelin-starred restaurants (e.g. help towards transport and accommodation)
Leicester College - assistance with bus travel costs to help a promising student attend college, report:
"I felt that this year has been a great learning curve for me, and a great experience.
I feel I have grown as a person due to the Level 3 Supervisory course. It has made me more confident and knowledgeable which will hopefully help me to get a good job in the future.
I have also applied to university to do a Foundation Degree in Hospitality Management which I hope to start in September.
I would like to say thank you for sponsoring me as without this I would not have been able to continue with my studies.
Coventry University, London Campus - financial assistance to help a promising student study for a BSc Hospitality top-up course, report:
"During the first weeks of my studying I manage to get to know and work with different people from a different countries. The special opportunity for me was to attend the lectures which had different approach to work and studying than I was used to before, and it has broaden my perspective and enhance my knowledge and experience.
The modules were configured in a way to help student build adequate practical knowledge and to motivate students to investigate, research and question every subject and opinion. This has proved to be a good concept in building my critical thinking and developing practical research skills that will become useful in the future.
